Coolum Kids Cake Stall

By Dog lover

Maggie and Carys are raising funds for RSPCA QLD

Hi everyone!

I'm Maggie and I'm 8. I really love animals and  I have a kelpie pup called Molly, and a pet sheep called Lockie.

Me and my friend Carys are doing a cake stall on our street this Saturday (18 May) - to raise money for the RSPCA. It's going to be really cool. I have made some colourful dog fetch sticks to sell too.

My Dad plays guitar and he's going to play music for everybody too.

It starts at 10am, on the corner of Wembley Road and Springfield Avenue in Coolum Beach. Hope to see you there!

RSPCA QLD rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals across the state, caring for over 52,000 animals every year. It is the only charitable body responsible for investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases within Queensland, with the Inspectorate receiving over 17,800 reports of cruelty last year. RSPCA QLD cares for wildlife, domestic and farm animals, providing a safe space for animals - with 96% of their work funded by the community.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of the animals of Queensland. Thank you!

My Updates

thank you

Monday 20th May
Thank you everyone who donated cakes and money - We appreciate it so much.

It was a great day - me and Carys raised a total of $195, bringing our total to $435!   We got to meet a lot of people from the community, and got to hear some great music from the Bush Chooks also.

Looking forward to doing it again next year!

Ready to Go!

Friday 17th May
Everything's in action! The kitchen's a mess though!

A big thank you to Jen at Peregian Beach Bakery for donating all of these bakings for the Coolum Kids Cake Stall happening tomorrow.

Thankyou also to the other people that have donated cakes and baking.

And thank you also to everyone who has donated already. We smashed our goal of $120 before we even had our cake sale, so our target is now $400!

Wish us luck....!

Carys and Maggie.
